Let us understand the meaning of pushti - marg. Pushti means "Grace" and the Marg means the "path". The method by which we can obtain the Grace of God is the Pushti-Marg of the Path of Grace.
PUSTIMARG is a cult of krishna worship, whose foundations were laid by SHRIMAD VALLABHACHARYA. This cult worships Lord krishna as a baby of seven years of age portrayed as a royal child. SHRIMAD VALLABHACHARYA rendered his religious and spiritual discourses all over India. Eighty-four of such places are now better known as baithaks which are till date maintained with great reverence and care. In the Pusti-Marg, the plane of divine love is reached by the devotee by transecding all other loves such as self- love, family-love, social love and even the Universal-love. In the Pushti-Marg the love for God is of the Gopi-type-love which is an ideal love for the divine soul, provided it is Lord Krishna’s love, renouncing the world and the worldly attachments.
